Photon42 Posted December 23, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) After the last Capture One update to 4.5.2, I've observed an increased instability of the application. Now, C1 support advised to remove settings files, job queue content etc., along with a clean new install of the latest version (same as before in my case). In short, it boils down to the following shell commands: USER=<putinyournamehere> cd /Users/$USER/Pictures/Capture\ One\ Library rm Capture\ One.col rm Capture\ One.col45 cd /Users/$USER/Library/Preferences rm ./com.phaseone.captureone.plist rm ./com.phaseone.captureone.crash.plist cd /Users/$USER/Library/Application\ Support/Capture\ One/Batch\ Queue rm * In the hope that someone finds this useful. The application seems to have gone back to normal, albeit still runs a bit slow on my MacBookPro - but that's a different topic Regards Ivo

erl Posted December 23, 2008 Share #3 Posted December 23, 2008 I've gone back to 4.1.1 and running very happily. I don't intend upgrading further until the water stops coming over the bows and "auto pilot" works.
