comapedrosa Posted October 13, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 13, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thread intensity picked up nicely prior to Photokina, but now I feel that the excitement level has dropped again. I literally found myself watching the forum at least 3-4 times a day when the anticipation of the M8 announcement was at its peak, but now we just seem to have fallen into a long, dark and dry wait. Guest guy_mancuso Posted October 14, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 14, 2006 I'm busy lens shopping I bought the 24mm today . I have a wish list at Adorama for the V/C 15mm and a 50mm cron for my R need to fill that hole since I sold my lux and planning on ordering the 50mm ASPH tommorow . So 15,24,35,50 all I need is the 75:D :D
MP3 Posted October 14, 2006 Share #6 Posted October 14, 2006 Guy, you are so fast! I bought the 75 Cron months ago, gorgeous shape images it gives. Sometimes, I may wonder should I get its brother Lux. The Lux's shapeness to smoothness transit and color is magical. Overall it is a smoother lens as compared to the Cron. On compactness, Cron is of course the choice. But they are both very fine lens. BTW I think the 50s will be used far more than the 75s with M8's 1.33 crop, becomes a small tele portrait lens now.
