Flashcubes

I've never heard of a Leica-branded flashcube unit. As for other brands, there are a couple of units on EBay (search for "flashcube" and also for "flash cube").

It would also be worth trying some dealers who specialise in old, non-famous cameras and equipment. I don't know where you are; in my part of the world I'd start with Hailsham Camera Centre and Arundel Photographica (by telephone: flashcube units are likely to be in bottom drawers, not on websites!).

Many flashcube guns didn't have a PC cord, only a hot foot, but there's no difficulty finding a hot shoe adapter.

Solution found!!!

Agfa 'isi-C' flashcube adaptor.

A dinky little hot shoe mounted cube with PC cable attached.Takes a small 6v battery (compatible silver oxide type available from 'The small battery company' ) and the flashcube plugs into the top. Connects direct to my IIIf flash socket via cable.

I paid £3 for mine form J.S. marriott here in the UK and have seen them on e-bay.
