wolfee Posted October 13, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 13, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Leica 25mm f1.4 fits and works on the E400 Olympus, right? Including all electronics, autofocus. btw, how come the digital 25 requires so many more elements than a fast film normal lens?

sdai Posted October 13, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 13, 2006 The Leica 25mm f1.4 fits and works on the E400 Olympus, right? Including all electronics, autofocus. Nobody can guarantee ... yet, Mike. Panasonic has a list on their Japanese website showing all the certified Olympus/Sigma lenses which are fully compatible with the L1, but the 14-50/2.8-3.5 ASPH has known issues with the E-500 which was addressed after upgrading to firmware ver.1.2. List of Certfied Oly/Sigma Lenses Fully Compatible with the L1 Personally, I wouldn't bother with the E-400 or the 25/1.4 ... Olympus will have a completely revamped lineup of 4/3 cameras at the next PMA, including the replacement of the E-400 and several new glasses
