jrc Posted December 3, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 3, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) There's an interesting note at the Online Photographer here: THEONLINEPHOTOGRAPHER.COM about the coming of adapters that will allow you to use M lenses on the new micro 4/3 cameras. Apparently Stephen Gandy will have them in a month or so... Maybe this will save us from the shame of using an M8 [wry humor alert for those who have no sense of humor, and I apologize in advance for any offense I may have given today or any other time, etc.] I have also seen some test shots from the G1 sensor that were not especially impressive -- not as good, across the board, as the Canon Rebel. I don't know what effect Leica glass might have on this... But with the EVF, if it's good enough to focus effectively (and I understand it is), we'll have a small, handy, something-like-a-rangefinder camera; and when Olympus produces theirs, assuming the sensor is better than Pana's, and the EVF is as good, it might be a very interesting package to toy with whilst we wait for the M9.
