ijporter Posted October 11, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 11, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mount Caernarvon is the highest point of vehicular access in South Australia's lovely Flinders Ranges. It is on a property named 'Willow Springs' which offers a 4WD trip called 'Skytrek' which is a terrific day out if you have a competent 4WD vehicle. Here, late in the afternoon, we look south to Wilpena Pound and geologists' delights. The summit is dotted with these grass trees (long known as 'Blackboys', but this is now politically incorrect so that's what everyone keeps calling them) which make terrific props for landscape work. ijporter Posted October 12, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted October 12, 2006 Hello William, I doubt that you'd be able to hire a 90 - the hire companies generally hire only T%#%+@$ - but there only a few parts of the track that are at all testing and a Pra(choke)do ought to be able to do it easily.
