How to set slow sys when use external Flash on digilux3& PanaL1

I used DMW- FL360 on L1 and when set flash mode to slow sys is not show on menu.

When external flash attach to the L1 only has on and off flash. However, I can set TTL-auto, Auto, FP TTL-auto, manual, FP manual on flash unit.

Or it normally when uses this flash unit that can not use slow sys and red-eye reduction.

Anybody has an experience about that.

Note: Panasonic Flash DMW- FL360 = Olympus Flash FL36

I use Oly FL 36 on my D3.

The settings on the flash unit are indeed not shown in the D3 menu.

The D3 flash menu is only for the pop up flash.

I found this not a problem, as the Oly flash shows the settings very clear. I use 99% of the time the TTL settings, which give a very good picture.:)

Thank you

And for all to use L1/Digilux3 with External flash FL360 or FL500.

When you used external flash it has only two mode of flash you can set is on and off. If you want to take picture in slow sys mode you can set speed dial to speed as you want and set flash to TTL Auto.

On day time, if you want to used flash unit (external flash) set flash to FP TTL auto.
