It won't take long for a host providing seed or damp bread & sugar to be mobbed by these beautiful, but noisy, birds. They will have no qualms at all about waking you up at 6am to be fed. It does make a good start to summer mornings, however. This young Lorrikeet in Lamington National Park had been squawking for its parent to feed it, but then decided to recover its breath for the big feed!
