I received my Digilux 2 from Canada today, and when the owner said he only used it a few times, it looks like it camera right out of the box. I plan on running it thru its paces tomorrow. Since this my first post and looking forward to receiving words of wisdom on the camera's use. I recently sold all my R equipment including my Liecaflex. I'm keeping my M4 and the lenses. I have a Dlux 3 and a Canon for my other cameras

Hi Dave,

welcome to the wonderful world of the D2! There were a couple of recent threads discussing it so you might find useful info already there.

Ha. I'm going the other way -- am getting a film R (almost everyone says to get the R6.2, though I'm inclined more towards the R4S due to cost and also I don't think I'm good enough a photographer to deserve the 6.2 yet), to be used with my 2/50mm and 2.8/28mm R lenses. This setup will replace my Digilux 2 as my main carry-everywhere camera.
