louloumum Posted November 20, 2008 Share #1 Posted November 20, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Only recently being owner of a D-Lux 4 I'm really wanting to explore all of the possibilities of the camera. However, what really bothers me (and my vanity ) is that I simply can't figure out how to turn it into B&W mode... I have had to stick to conversion so far Any assistance from someone...? who are maybe more in favour of reading manuals than I'm am ..... Thanks in advance ! _____________________ Marie-Louise

meng8123 Posted November 20, 2008 Share #2 Posted November 20, 2008 ok, it's really easy to do this, there are different ways to get to B&W photos. first of all, if you are taking raw pictures, then all of your output will be colors no matter what you do with your camera setting. so first thing to do is to check if you have only "raw" selected under the "quality" (click menu/set button and you will see the quality option). I suggest you to change that to either high quality or raw with high quality. then under the same menu, you will see the first one that's called film mode. once you located film mode, press ">" button to change different film mode and once you located B&W, just click "menu/set" again to exit and you are in B&W mode. hope this helps. another easy way to do this is to press the joystick and the menu will pop up on your lcd and go from there. brucek Posted November 20, 2008 Share #3 Posted November 20, 2008 B&W is a Film mode. Press the Menu / Set button then press the right arrow to enter the mode. Keep pressing the right arrow button until the B&W modes become available. Bruce
