don_panko Posted October 9, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) During a recent vacation my old and trusty Digilux 1 lost the ON/OFF switch control knob. It is still functional but flimsy. Any suggestions on repair are appreciated. Thanks
Advertisement Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Hi don_panko, Take a look here Digilux 1 Repair Help. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marknorton Posted October 10, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 10, 2006 Looks to me like there are 4 screws holding the plate on to the switch and I assume waht you've lost is a clip on cover. I would have thought Leica could supply that as a spare part for you to install wihtout having to return the camera. don_panko Posted October 10, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted October 10, 2006 Thanks Mark. I'll check out the link for replacements parts but I think that it is more complex than a clip-on cover. I noticed the centre portion of the cover missing one day but everything seemed secure then a day later the whole piece went missing. I'll contact Leica next as this doesn't seem like a common problem for the forum. Take care.
