Your city has such wonderful, masterfullly-crafted buildings to photograph--they are like individual works of art in and of themselves. You are indeed a lucky man! I live in Salzburg, which, though, has in common with Dresden its baroque architecture and history as residence city. Luckily, Salzburg escaped the Second World War with relatively minor damage, while Dresden was completely destroyed. So all the buildings you see in my post had to be rebuilt after WW II, with the wonderful "Frauenkirche" (pic # 3) having reopened only this year.
