gonzo Posted November 8, 2008 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all My Leicaflex SL in beautiful condition has a stuck (on 0) film counter. It simply won't advance to 1 although the film itself is advancing. I thought that I might have a shutter problem so I sacrificed the film to check out the problem. Any help, suggestions, insights ect. would be greatly appreciated. Is it one of those things that will cost me a fortune to fix but isn't worth the repair? Thanks! gonzo Posted November 8, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted November 8, 2008 Oh man, I'm really not looking forward to this...I live in Germany and have heard of the extraordinarily high cost of sending it to Leica (also according to several people, they don't repair Leicaflex's any more). Any suggestions? I prefer Europe

gonzo Posted November 8, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted November 8, 2008 Thanks! I've tried a few things and it looks like it does need to be repaired. I've read the German forum comments and it looks like he comes highly recommended. (Would be great if he were in my city though so I wouldn't have to trust my Leica to post :-/)
