elansprint72 Posted November 5, 2008 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm considering abandoning my ongoing decorating duties and going to the Lowry this coming Sunday. The 100 Years of Gaurdian 100 Yaers of Photograhpy exhibition is on. Anyone else up for it? A Long Exposure: 100 years of Guardian photography | Media | guardian.co.uk I've never actually wandered around that precise area since it was a working dockyard but I think Rolo has taken the odd decent snap thereabouts. cocker Posted November 5, 2008 Share #3 Posted November 5, 2008 Hi Pete, Unfortunately I'm in London over the weekend (hoping to see the Annie Leibovitz exhibition at the NPG) so won't be able to join you - otherwise would have been delighted to. stunsworth Posted November 6, 2008 Share #4 Posted November 6, 2008 Pete, I could be up for it. How about meet at 11 in front of the entrance, look round the exhibition, lunch, and then across the canal to the imperial war museum? If you do go, park in the multi story car park next to the Lowry (just follow the signs for Salford Quays)- if you buy something in the shops nearby (lunch for example) then you get a voucher and there's no charge for parking. If you park by the imperial war museum it's £4-5 from memory.
andybarton Posted November 6, 2008 Share #5 Posted November 6, 2008 Or you could park in my office car park, and I would only charge you £

(one's house, not one's internal organs) it looks like I'm not going to be free on Saturday after all.
