Advertisement Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Hi POKO, Take a look here Epson V700 Software options... . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
thomasw_ Posted November 1, 2008 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2008 I have tried different software, but I prefer the epson software in 'professional' mode. Finem respice, consider what your end is. If it is just posting to the Web, that convenience of scanning a roll/scan is a lot to give up in using other 3rd party software.
andybarton Posted November 1, 2008 Share #3 Posted November 1, 2008 Vuescan?
Marquinius Posted November 2, 2008 Share #4 Posted November 2, 2008 I'm using a V750, but I guess the same plays here. I tend to go back to the Epson software mostly, as it's convenient and simple. All post processing si done afterwards in LR or PS anyway. Vuescan is a good option. Marco
POKO Posted November 4, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted November 4, 2008 Hi, Thank you for the comments. Been using Silver Fast and it is close to what I am looking for, but is still a bit basic in the fine tuning options of the file. Also, there are not enough in the way of profiles for neg film. Looked at Vuescan, but it is even simple than Silverfast. Was hoping for something with more options that are a bit more intuitive to work with. I am currently using C1 pro for my raw files and really like that interface. Any other thoughts? Thanks, P
