mikej Posted October 28, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 28, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, all - Looking through my favorite old bookstore last weekend, I came upon a large set of estate sale books on photography. Included was this Leica training class manual from 1958. The student that owned the manual was Luis Marden, famous National Geographic Society photographer, writer, explorer, and Leica shooter. The binder included a large section on Leica technical information, advice on how to sell Leicas, a class picture with Marden at the microscope, a brochure on the history of Wetzlar, a copy of Leica Fotografie from 3/1956, Marden's hand-written class notes, and his graduation certificate! There are 2 messages for this to post all of the pictures. Cheers, Mike
