Hello all, I am a recent member from France. This summer I decided to take my two Leica's out of the closet, a '73 black M5 and a '96 M6, and started shooting them again, mostly B&W, but some slides too. Maybe I went overboard, I even bought a IIIg and sold the M6, too hi tech Recently I found a very nice leather case for the IIIg and lenses, pictures attached. It's a bit of a tight fit, the IIIg body is just a teeny little too high it seems. Would anybody know when it was made, for what camera(s), or anything else about my case? Thanks,

Scroll to post no.14 - a picture of a case identical to yours, filled with goodies. Your case is in better condition than mine - excellent find! It was made for the IIIf; as you found out, the IIIg's body was too high to fit.

Hi Pat Here are some photos of the Leica cases , one has 2 x 111g bodies and lenses etc and the other is a doctors type bag with a 1F ,11f , and a 11F and lenses etc if you require any further information on the cases I have approx 20+ in my collection .

Not so complete, and bad cosmetics...the strap is tear. It came with 8 lenses, some filters, viewfinder and a roll of film not exposed...my camera and some lenses I sent to Youxin...for CLA....regards...
