alifie Posted October 19, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 19, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) A while ago I told you all about the painting of my darkroom, the enlarger (a cream and brown DeVere 504) looked tatty after that so it got a coat of black over the cream, better... And now the floor looks tatty, I say looks, that was Friday. A quick trip to Wickes and they had real genuine artificial oak parquet self adhesive plastic flooring tiles at £4.49 a square metre, half price end of line. Now the floor is de-tattyfied I dare not go in there in case I find another 'orrible thing to tart up. Come to think of it the chair has seen better days and the enlarger baseboard is not a pristine white anymore. Arghhhhhhhhhh......

marke Posted October 19, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 19, 2008 Just go out and take some pictures. It will help get things back into their proper perspective. I'm about to start building my own darkroom (first one in 30 years), but it will be a bit more humble than yours. Just putting rubber mats down on the floor for now. And I think my enlarger board does have a scuff or two. Got to get up the walls first!
