Ilford 50 Shot at 400

Although I can't help with processing I would suggest before doing anything with the film you shoot another one or more under similar conditions. That way you or the lab can experiment with processing to see if you can get salvageable results before trying your precious film.

If the subject had low contrast you might be lucky, high contrast though would be exacerbated by any push processing. Probably what's needed is a speed increasing highly compensating developer. Have a look at the film developers on this site Speedibrews some were developed for astronomy. Similar products may be available to you in the US. You may find you can obtain a low contrast result which would benefit from being scanned and digitally printed.

I was shooting with my M6 with Pan F and realized that the ISO was set at 400 (for Tri-X). This roll has at least two of Most memorable shots from Haiti. I need suggestions for saving it, I e., instructions for the lab. Thanks

I suggest you develop yourself. Pan F+ isn't really pushable but you can try Microphen. You'll lose shadow detail.
