dkCambridgeshire Posted October 12, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 12, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just acquired an early type Leitz 22228 R to M adaptor so can now use my c.1970 21mm Super-Angulon-R lens on my M3. The lens will probably not match the performance of equivalent M lenses but should be useful for the few times I need this focal length with an M camera. Focusing will be by estimate. The viewfinder is a Leica 12014 which is switchable between 21mm, 24mm and 28mm. I'll be using the adaptor carefully as the plastic lens release button can be fragile ... I had to replace a similar one which broke on my Leicaflex SL. [/img] [/img] Cheers dunk

veraikon Posted October 12, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 12, 2008 Novoflex makes a "very similar" adaptor without the plastic button, but with a metal one. And yes the combo works, I use one with a Carl Zeiss SLR-Contax 21/2.8 lens on my M. A little bit huge but it works...
