ISO 2500 anyone?

No, I'm not saying that at all. I just don't see why such high ISO ratings have suddenly become all important. How many of us actually need these on a regular basis?

 

And even then, looking at many of the examples that have been submitted in this thread, I think that the M8 acquits itself very well in this respect. :)

Here are a couple more - random - example of iso 2500 on the M8. I'm finding it MUCH better when processing in Capture 1 compared to CS4 - especially in BW conversion. As for how much we use 2500 or even 1250, that depends on your shooting. Low light and a Noctilux is like peanut butter and jelly to me!

 

I'm very happy about these results. I've never ventured into 1250 or 2500 much, fearing horrible results. I now feel I know more HOW to get great results at these iso's with my M8.
