Advertisement Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Hi Julian Thompson, Take a look here ISO 2500 anyone?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Nicoleica Posted June 17, 2009 Share #42 Posted June 17, 2009 But if your attitude is that there should be no technological progress then why use digital at all? No, I'm not saying that at all. I just don't see why such high ISO ratings have suddenly become all important. How many of us actually need these on a regular basis? And even then, looking at many of the examples that have been submitted in this thread, I think that the M8 acquits itself very well in this respect. rondeb Posted June 18, 2009 Share #43 Posted June 18, 2009 Here are a couple more - random - example of iso 2500 on the M8. I'm finding it MUCH better when processing in Capture 1 compared to CS4 - especially in BW conversion. As for how much we use 2500 or even 1250, that depends on your shooting. Low light and a Noctilux is like peanut butter and jelly to me! I'm very happy about these results. I've never ventured into 1250 or 2500 much, fearing horrible results. I now feel I know more HOW to get great results at these iso's with my M8. Best, Ron Welcome, dear visitor!
