yadillah Posted October 1, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 1, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone, I have a Macbook Pro on which I have installed Capture One 4. When I press the Library button, all my pictures, which are on an external drive, appear. I can then select the one I want to work on. When I press the "quick" tab, or any of the others, (exposure, colour, or detail), none of the adjustment tabs will operate. I have tried everything, but cannot make things work. I must be doing something wrong. Also, how do I install the JFI profiles on the Mac? I didn't have any trouble with the PC. I would really appreciate some assistance. Advertisement Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Hi yadillah, Take a look here Mac, Capture One, and JFI Profiles. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
el_greco Posted October 1, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 1, 2008 Are you sure you are using RAW-Files? If you try to use JPEGs or TIFFs Capture One will be able to show those images, let you rate and move them. But C1 you will not be able to assign any operation to it - no rotation, no image processing, nothing. In contrast to Aperture or Lightroom, Capture One is no photo management application. It "only" is a RAW converter - even though a really good one with stunning image quality and RAW processing power. El.
archi4 Posted October 1, 2008 Share #3 Posted October 1, 2008 Malcolm, Under applications, right-click Capture one and choose show package contents and thengo to contents\recourses\profiles\input. There you can place the profiles but relabel them in the same format as the ones you find there (LeicaM8-xxxxxx) Maurice
