pinetar Posted September 24, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would prefer a digital that functions with the latest and greatest software programs and certainly must flow with a Mac. It is a feature I will look for on my next cam. No luck with my Canon 10D or D-LUX2. gary

miami91 Posted September 24, 2008 Share #3 Posted September 24, 2008 Hmm. I'll take your word for it, although as a Mac user and Leica owner (C-Lux1 and 2, D-Lux3, Digilux3) I've had no such troubles. The RAW format of the Digilux3 and D-Lux3 are fully supported by Aperture 2 and ACR, and I expect the D-Lux4 to be supported shortly after it's release as well (though admittedly this remains to be seen). I'm surprised the D-Lux2 isn't supported. In fairness though, Apple has gotten better about incorporating new camera support quickly, particularly since they launched Aperture. So maybe we can expect better with new camera models going forward, even if support for legacy camera models is lacking. Jeff.

I have all Canon's from 20D through to 40D and Digilux 2 and 3 and C-Lux 1 and 2. All are supported in Aperture. John
pinetar Posted September 25, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted September 25, 2008 I have all Canon's from 20D through to 40D and Digilux 2 and 3 and C-Lux 1 and 2. All are supported in Aperture. John The one feature that isn't is "tether". I wanted to tether and use automator for product shots. Had to buy a Nikon D60 to do it.
