alifie Posted September 15, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 15, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) The title may sound silly but I have just got an 8XND filter from Kood, it is coated on the outside only! I think that it would be best to reverse it so the coating is next to the lens, this way any reflections from the front (which reflect inwards too) would be attenuated by the NDness of the filter. I presume this would apply to any one side coated filter too. To add insult to injury I got a 58mm one for my 'lux, wrong! it is the latest type so 60mm. The silver lining in the cloud is that I got a 60mm Rodenstock one from ebay for 30 bob. I don't think I will be buying any more Koods.
