i have a Konica AR 56/1.2 for my E3, so i know how useful fast lenses can be on small crops

i think one of the better choices for mFT might be 35/1.2 Voigtlander Nokton, at least, thats were i would look

Agreed ... but I already have the f1.2 Canon FD lenses and would welcome opportunity to use them on a digital camera. I already use 50/3.5 macro FD lens on a Canon DSLR but only for macro photography ie non-infinity focusing ... I adapted a regular FD - EF convertor by removing the correction lens from the convertor.

 

And can always hope that Leica might market an MTF format camera.

you know, my feeling is and its absurd but, I really cant see Leica getting into mFT

maybe they have their own design, and that might be a very good for them

 

pretty sure you can get FD adapters for FT though

given that, its just mFT>FT adapter >FT to FD adapter

I own a 4:3 camera and used to have a E-1 when it first came out ....since pensioned off, so I have nothing against it. Look at the specs of pentax and the pancake lenses are out now, not a maybe in the future.

 

 

Then again you may want to stick to listening to the wind whistling between your ears .....what a weird coot you are ............ guys like you sure make the ward look sane and we can do with that

There aren't enough interchangeable lenses available, and that's the problem. When a telephoto lens is used, an image in the finder is difficult to see because it's too small. With a super-wide angle lens, the entire shooting area does not fit in the finder. That's why users of rangefinder cameras are those who really like cameras. For other users, they are difficult to use.
