pgk Posted September 4, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 4, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have acquired a 50mm f/2.8 Photar which I believe (?) has a thread of M40 x 0.75 pitch. Can anyone tell me whether there is a 'standard' Leica adapter to allow this to be mounted on a Leica R bellows before I have one custom built? (I know that the Leica Photar adapter 14259 has the smaller RMS thread as I have one of these and it has an approx 0.8" threaded aperture for the smaller RMS thread - I will use this for shorter focal length or smaller aperture Photars). Advertisement Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Hi pgk, Take a look here Photar adapters. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pgk Posted September 5, 2008 Author Share #2 Posted September 5, 2008 Having now researched this further I find that I need an adapter number 500935 but am unsure of its vintage or rarity. Any comments before I resort to cannibalising an extension tube and having a custom plate built?
