peter_n Posted September 6, 2008 Share #41 Posted September 6, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) your film will be fineExactly. As I said in post #18 above, my film went through the x-ray machines everywhere and there were no problems. Same trip as yours. Actually extra, because I went to Berlin and back from London and also suffered the indignity of having my camera bag go through x-ray machines in all the museums I visited on the trip! So to repeat, you should have no worries taking film.

DaCh Posted September 6, 2008 Share #42 Posted September 6, 2008 I travel quite a lot and never had a problem until this year. Came from SFC to Heathrow with 100iso and 125iso b&w in carry on. Film had been exposed in two different cameras. 3 out of 12 rolls had random fogging along one edge, soft a bit like clouds and one also had faint random straight lines across some frames at various angles. Different makes of film from different sources, different cameras and processed separately. I did salvage a lot of the images. I had always thought metal canisters were good enough protection. I was more paranoid about my SD cards, but they were fine, can they get upset by scanners?
rob_x2004 Posted September 6, 2008 Share #43 Posted September 6, 2008 Thats odd. Sounds more like light leaks though. Random angels sounds interesting. Can you post images?
