johnastovall Posted September 2, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 2, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I bought a junk box of Leica stuff at an estate sale and most of it I've identified but these goggles stump me. They have an M-mount on the base the front is threaded. I can not find any catalog number or name on them. There was an early 135/2.8 Elmarit for sale (scolloped focusing ring) which did not have goggles on it. Could these be the goggles for it?

johnastovall Posted September 2, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted September 2, 2008 Do just the lens cell (11828) ever show for sale?
lars_bergquist Posted September 3, 2008 Share #6 Posted September 3, 2008 Do just the lens cell (11828) ever show for sale? I have never seen the optical cell on sale 'naked'. It could removed (like several other lenses) so that you could use it on a Visoflex, with a suitable focusing helical adapter. This was numbered 16462, and it did also fit the lens head of the old-style, long-focus 90mm Summicron.
