andybarton Posted September 26, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 26, 2006 Does anyone know what the use is for the "portrait format shutter release" on the front of the DMR? I cannot find instructions in the manual. Many thanks in advance It's just an alternative button to use. The DMR makes the normal shutter release very hard to get to, so there's one on the front that naturally falls under your index finger when you put your hand through the strap. The one on the bottom, which can be locked off, is if you are holding the body at the base, in a vertical orientation. Never used it myself.
Walker Posted September 26, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 26, 2006 Many thanks! That cleared this little mystery. Otherwise, I am very happy with the DMR - works like a breeze. Willy
