R2-D2 Posted August 7, 2008 Share #21 Posted August 7, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ah sorry, I'll put it back. What did I say? Only if you are scanning? Now I'm confused... %-) Did you mean that only scanning would reveal the "plastic particles" on the film?

Kossi008 Posted August 12, 2008 Share #22 Posted August 12, 2008 Now I'm confused... %-) Did you mean that only scanning would reveal the "plastic particles" on the film? Nope, you can see them with the naked eye all right. I stopped using salad spinners as well after finding this out. I still use them for salad, though, because the weight of the salad is much more evenly distributed than development spools...

leicar888 Posted August 12, 2008 Share #24 Posted August 12, 2008 Images 8 and 9 on the left on my Flickr page show what I use, successfully every time I develop a roll of film, that completely prevents streaks as well as dust from impacting my negatives after I have applied Photo-Flo to them. Click on the second image and revealed will be my descriptions of what to make this inexpensive film dryer from and how to easily assemble it. It is a gem!
