Leica digitals are out of the question due to heavy taxing here in Turkey. I need all the info that i can find from my fellow friends who used this system. Is it worth it? Due to crop factor my 100mm APO macro will be 200mm will the aperture be doubled as well from 2.8 to 5.6?? Are there any tips and tricks? Which adapters are good and where can i find em? What is changed is the size of the image capture area, which in the case of a 4/3-system camera results in an angle of view half of what you'd see with a 35mm film camera. Bob Ross Posted August 4, 2008 Share #4 Posted August 4, 2008 One thing to explore is whether you can manually focus with the E-420 and if you'll need a manual focus screen from someone like KatzEye. Also the apertures for exposure will remain the same, a F2.8 lens will still be F2.8, but the DoF (depth of field) changes from F135 use Online Depth of Field Calculator plug in the values you need to illustrate it for yourself Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am not sure if you are still in Turkey or back in the states but those adapters shouldn't be hard to find. Sorry I have no experience with them. Leica has one at a premium price naturally.
