crm.ecosse Posted August 1, 2008 Share #21 Posted August 1, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I'd like to get one of these, and I don't find ANY place in Europe to order it. I've only found some stores in the US (cameraquest) and Japan, but they charge me more for the shipping costs than the actual value of the strap....(35$ strap, 40$ shipping) Thank you While on a business trip in Ireland, I ordered from Artisan & Artist in NYC by telephone. The strap was shipped and arrived at my home in the UK before I did! Superb uncomplicated service from the 'makers' of the Voigtländer strap. Advertisement Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Hi crm.ecosse, Take a look here Deluxe voigtlander strap.Where to buy in Europe??. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
kenneth Posted August 1, 2008 Share #22 Posted August 1, 2008 Kenneth, I think you're missing the whole thing here. If you just googling found the voigtlander strap in Europe, why don't you just tell everybody? The url and prices that I requested from the beginning. You don't tell because you DON'T KNOW, you can only criticize without knowing. Ignorance is the most daring sickness... There's only places in US and Japan selling this strap and a few in UK, and I can assure that you can't find the UK places just "googling"... The site I was directed to on Google when I entered Voigtlander strap was in fact Cameraquest who state they have them in stock. If you want one badly enough this could be the place. I know nothing about the company. I will leave you to explore that one. I also think you assume too much

If you want one badly enough this could be the place. I know nothing about the company. I will leave you to explore that one. I also think you assume too much If you read my first post you'll see that I found several places in the US (cameraquest is one of them) and some in Japan (artisan & artist) that sell that strap, my point in that post was that shipping costs were too high, so I wanted to find a place to buy in Europe with obviously less shipping costs... I see your three or four posts didn't really added nothing new to my FIRST post, only strange complainings about "this is the place or this is not" which I don't really understand (and I think that nobody in this forum does). Besides, your "magic" solution is buy the strap in cameraquest.com, which is the FIRST thing that I said I didn't want to do...you're very funny Kenneth...really funny... Anyway, thanks for trying, and be happy...
timetraveller Posted August 1, 2008 Author Share #24 Posted August 1, 2008 Thanks everybody for your responses! I've been lucky and one of the Leica-forum users has a deluxe voigtlander strap available to sell it to me from the UK!! Thanks again.

wattsy Posted August 1, 2008 Share #26 Posted August 1, 2008 If you read the whole thread you will see, I think, that you are missing the point. I am suggesting that exploring Voigtlander websites is the best way to find out about availability of Voigtlander equipment. Maybe, but your initial post in this thread just comes across as an unnecessarily snotty comment.
timetraveller Posted August 1, 2008 Author Share #27 Posted August 1, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) . And stop assuming What are you? Ordering me? who do you think you are, man?? First of all, learn some education, you really need it, second of all, learn to read (your own comments in first place), and you'll find that you're getting absolutely ridiculous , and everybody here is seeing it... Go out and hang out with something, you seem to need it, no matter what it is: straps, cameras, beer, whatever...

kenneth Posted August 1, 2008 Share #30 Posted August 1, 2008 Dear Timetraveller I have just checked your personal profile and I would like to opologise, publicly and unreservedly. I had not realised English was not your first language. As someone who cannot speak a word of Spanish, who am I to criticise your use of my language. I sincerely hope you are successful in your quest to find your strap. And on a more cheerful subject, you must be very proud of your countries success in the sporting arena this Summer.
