gDallasK Posted July 26, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 26, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) A bit late I know, but if you are flying long haul with BA this month there is a very interesting docummentary on Leica hidden away in the on board entertainment system. It's quite old though - I didn't see any models newer than ten years old. But it gives a very good summary of the genesis of the M seruies rangefinders. It certainly helped to while away the time on a flight from Heathrow to Toronto. Possibly not worth the price of the ticket just to see it, but if you are flying anyway it's definitely worth a look. Advertisement Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Hi gDallasK, Take a look here Fly BA - and see "The Leica Story". I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
storybrown Posted July 27, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 27, 2008 You're right - I saw it on BA Houston-Heathrow; it's interesting. There's also a quick piece on Leica in the BA buy-stuff-jetty-cool-people-have magazine (not the duty free catalog) - I've forgotten the name. And KLM transatlantic as recently as a month ago had the little Leica-look Minox duty free for $149.
