spylaw4 Posted July 22, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 22, 2008 Looks useful. Presumably one could adapt for Aperture?
ken_nyus Posted July 22, 2008 Share #3 Posted July 22, 2008 Thanks Peter, that will come in useful for my film shots! I jumped ship and switched to a mac a few weeks ago, and no going back for me. Like you I have been in the industry for over 20 years, and when I get home I just want this junk to work!
psamson Posted July 22, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted July 22, 2008 Looks useful. Presumably one could adapt for Aperture? Brian, I have both iPhoto '08 and Aperture 2.1 (2.something anyway). My current config is that Aperture references the images in iPhoto, and hence is not the master. After updating the EXIF tags on the desired images in iPhoto, I can go into Aperture and have it update the EXIF from the "master" image. So to answer your question - I assume the script might work with Aperture, but I have not tested it.
spylaw4 Posted July 24, 2008 Share #5 Posted July 24, 2008 Thanks for that. If I go further with Aperture (as opposed to LR) I'll look into that method of referencing files.
