Had the chance to shoot some TriX today with it and I must say I am impressed...great handling,sharp with medium contrast...a wonderful little lens for realtively small money. They are often overlooked in favour of their slightly faster brethren and do not command such high prices as a result. I absolutely agree with you - handling is sure and precise, and results are definitely pleasing. Congratulations on your purchase, and do show us some more! It is a most excellent value and thus far am very happy with the results. The size and proportions of it make it very easy to use, and 300 bucks for a mint, late model is really great. The IROOA hood does fit, but I seldom find myself bothering to use it. The deeply inset front element does seem pretty flare-resistant. Regards, Bill p.s.
