dpattinson Posted July 17, 2008 Share #3 Posted July 17, 2008 they've been there for a while now, many people carry very large bags (swags actually). including some stuff (like acetlyene cutting equipment, fireworks) that really shouldn't go onto the underground. They xray large bags, and they are now using hand held metal detectors and doing bag checks at the entrances (at least they are at Dongshimen anyway).
