freddofrog Posted July 16, 2008 Share #1  Posted July 16, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all  Thinking about getting a D-lux 3 but have concerns about how the flash works.  It seems like if you want to force the flash on, it has too be with an anti red eye preflash, whether you want it or not. This obviously increases the shutter lag time and also drains batteries.  Is there some way you can force the flash to fire without this pre flash, eg update firmware etc?  ta Shane Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

However in P mode etc if you open the flash then press the right hand cursor button (it has the flash symbol on it) you can then select: Auto Auto/RedEye Forced flash on Slow Sync Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
