Advertisement Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Hi santila, Take a look here Polarizing filter on the VE R 35-70mm. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
santila Posted July 28, 2008 Author Share #2 Posted July 28, 2008 Yes, the Heliopan #706039 will fit and work flowlessly on this lens with the Heliopan #701060 60MM rubber lens hood. The lens hood is vignetting at the near end but since it can be folded back the vignetting can be easly corrected. By mistake I did order the linear polarizer (it is about $30 less then the circular) but it will work fine on the entire range.
santila Posted July 31, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted July 31, 2008 I just found out that linear polarizing filter will not work correctly on R bodies. It will polarizes great but the light meter will not respond properly, so I am exchanging for the Helio circular polarizer # 706041.
