schmelli Posted July 6, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone, I happen to have inherited a 9cm Elmar 1:4 (sn 284386), which apertures still read the old values (4, 4.5, 6.3, 9, 12.5, 18, 25,36 instead of what we are used to today). It's showing a little bit of brass, but apart from that is in perfect working order. Would anyone have an idea what such a piece of glass could be worth? It comes with the original 9cm finder (SOOUT)... Thanks for all input here! Best Jyn

doubice Posted July 6, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 6, 2008 Hello Jyn, The finder is rarer than the lens. 90mm Elmars in this condition are very common and depending on the mood of the buyer and the seller, will fetch anywhere between US$50.00 to US$100. The finder is quite rare and in my humble opinion is worth between US$100 to US$150. Best, Jan
