poynterama Posted July 4, 2008 Share #21 Posted July 4, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Have you thought about a CL?? Cheap and cheerful, small enough to take anywhere as a spare body and has TTL metering as well

brianv Posted July 4, 2008 Share #22 Posted July 4, 2008 The CL is nice- but a completely different camera from the M6. Makes a nice second body to the M3. It has framelines for the 40-50- and 90 only.
NZDavid Posted July 5, 2008 Share #23 Posted July 5, 2008 Then again, if the M2 has been kept in pristine condition and only used lightly -- as opposed to the daily bashing all photo gear has to endure in the hands of hardened pros-- it could be well worth considering. There are lots of M3s, and slightly fewer M2s, around. They are good complement to the M6. Why not get your hands on one first and give it a whirl to see if you like it? kenneth Posted July 5, 2008 Author Share #25 Posted July 5, 2008 The OP stated in post #13 he had decided to stay with one body. You are quite right- that way it saves any confusion about which body to take out-as I already have indecision sometimes about which lens to take. For years I used SLR systems from Nikon- Olympus- and Leica but only ever had one lens which makes life so easy. I think that once I decide which is my favourite Summicron I might well sell the others
