vic vic Posted September 20, 2006 Share #3 Posted September 20, 2006 your sister man and her son??? the scan is still not good:-(((((((((( :-))))))) but it looks like retro color abit:-) reduce some blue in the dark to midtones. reduce some red and magenta in midtones. reduce some yellow in highlights. this will give better starting point. Vic, you seem to have a very good grasp on how to spot and correct color issues!! My only training is from trying and learning in this forum (and pulling a few hairs out). I will try to figure out how to make those changes this weekend and compare to the slide. (I wish someone could just come to my house and set everything up so that I can just insert a slide and have the scan come out correct!) Otherwise, maybe I should find a class that specializes in teaching these steps (calibrating, making great scan, checking for any problems and correcting them).
