Just noticed that Adobe Camera Raw 3.5, DNG Converter: Digital Photography Review is up... supports the Panny L1, FZ50 so probably the D series and the Vlux too.

 

Well, suggesting that M8 and DMR processing is now easier. any thoughts buddies?

Well without having a M8 raw file and my experience with the DMR take the freebie from leica on C1. They would not give it to you if it was not good and my experince with it for 5 years , agrees. But it is always nice to have other support raw processing . I would imagine the rest will also support it soon. What amazes me is the support for this camera already. I waited months for the DMR and C1. Hmmm that speaks a volumes right there. leica has really planned this very well, you guys are really lucky with the M8, it sucks being the pioneer. LOL

C1 v3.7.5 currently available at Phase One - Digital camera software - Digital SLR - CAPTURE ONE DSLR supports the M8. In addition, the pink/black line bug on the PC version has been fixed.

 

Adobe Camera Raw supports the M8 without having to add the camera (just like the DMR) specifically since the file is a DNG (the same should old for Lightroom since it is the same engine). The only downfall is that the internal profile in ACR is typically not very accurate and requires a strong calibration adjustments. It's still an option however.
