kdemas Posted June 16, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) All, I am going to Paris late this week and will be taking my M8 and related lenses. In addition I might bring my CM to burn off some Kodachrome I have in the fridge. Question - Has anyone shot Kodachrome or much slide film with the CM and, if so, did you find the meter accurate enough to be happy with the results. I am sure it will be fine but I thought I'd check to see if anyone has used the combo. Thanks! Kent
Advertisement Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Hi kdemas, Take a look here Kodachrome and the CM. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stunsworth Posted June 16, 2008 Share #2 Posted June 16, 2008 I've shot slide film with it's predecessor the Minilux and it worked fine.
kdemas Posted June 16, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted June 16, 2008 Good stuff, thanks Steve. I actually don't know why I posted this as I have never had any trouble with the CM exposure. I think I am having "gear phobia" before the trip.... having trouble deciding between taking the light CM or T3 (Contax) or the M5 or 7 (heavier). Anyway, thanks for the feedback, take care! andym911 Posted June 16, 2008 Share #4 Posted June 16, 2008 I've shot slide film with it's predecessor the Minilux and it worked fine. Same here , have put K64 through the Minilux and Contax T2...no problem with exposure. regards andy
richam Posted June 16, 2008 Share #5 Posted June 16, 2008 No Kodachrome, but I've put Sensia and Velvia through my CM Zoom with excellent results. Have a great time in Paris. If you are on a short time schedule, your CM should do just fine. I'd take the M7 and lenses only if you have adequate time to use them properly. rjans Posted June 16, 2008 Share #6 Posted June 16, 2008 I have used Sensia 100, 200 and 400 in my CM. No problems. Best
harmsr Posted June 17, 2008 Share #7 Posted June 17, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Kent, No problems. The CM meter works very well, and as I'm sure that you know, the lens is also great. The CM is one film camera that I miss, having sold it awhile ago.
