Advertisement Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Hi mhoutman, Take a look here Leica Digital Capture. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest guy_mancuso Posted September 18, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 18, 2006 For one tethered operation of the camera. There also could be a way to set up the camera parameters like Canon did with some of theres DSLR's. Given this is firmware from Jenoptik it also could be another raw processsing program to work with besides the Capture One program that comes with the Camera. mhoutman Posted September 18, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 18, 2006 Thanks Guy, I also found this: http://www.dpreview.com/articles/leicam8/page5.asp it seems a sort of remote control shooting software Michiel
Guest guy_mancuso Posted September 18, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 18, 2006 Yes it will be tethered but i forgot to mention it will and can be shot and controlled by the laptop. Most likely you can hit the space bar and take a shot , than you will be able to control the aperture , shutter and functions like this . Think MF digital operations. Most software like this you can shoot a white card and balance that than every shot in that session will be at that WB you set up. I love shooting tethered. i was really hoping i could use this for my DMR and if Leica is listening i beg you for this function. Flexcolor that we currently can use tags the file .fff and i can't see those files in Capture One for processing and we are stuck with processing our raws in Flexcolor which i hate the program. But this should be really nice for M users.
