Just updated my copy of Vuescan, having left it lie fallow for a month or so.

Ed Hamrick has recently added a "tiff dng" output mode, which allows the full Adobe Raw Converter module to be used.

Really, really handy

I've been using and loving Vuescan for several weeks. It has put new life into my film photography by making the Scan Dual IV really perform at it's best.

DNG files from Vuescan are rich in detail and latitude. LOVE IT!

Best wishes

Dan

Hmm I have a problem with the dng's from Vuescan, which I have just updated. The vuescan preview looked excellent, but on import into Lightroom (1.4.1) - ugh - very very dark and with a green cast over the whole shot. Could this be related to the embedded camera profile? If so what do I need to do?

Just so that people can see what I am talking about here are two versions of the same shot - straight from Vuescan via LR - no adjustments the first is a tif and the other is the dng
