I am coming to the UK for a week, and plan to shoot a fair bit with my 'new' 4x5 rangefinder (a modified Polarod 110B), but I don't want to carry film through airport security more than once and can't find the new T-Max 400 in sheet in Toronto.

Can anyone recommend a good film supply shop in London?

Thanks in advance,

- nick

The Silverprint Catalogue 2007 an excellent warehouse/shop used by many of the Arts colleges.

It's a few minutes walk from Waterloo train/underground station. They are NOT open on Saturdays though. To be sure of getting what you want you can ask them to reserve items for you.

Hmmmm... 4x5 Rangefinder based on a 110...

Would it be a Littman or a Razzle by any chance? If so, a write-up of your experiences (and some photos of the camera, and any photos you've scanned) would be greatly appreciated! I've contacted Dean@Razzledog about his conversions, but have yet to hear back.

Direct Lighting (Direct - Lighting Cameras Consumables) in Waterloo sell all kinds of 4x5 film.

Metro (Metro Imaging - Homepage) in Clerkenwell will also develop, scan and print your 4x5 frames. They're bloody expensive, but excellent.

Enjoy your trip to London!
