In the early 1960's we had these anti-ballistic missiles (ABM) & mobile radar devices on the lawn of my elementary school during the Cuban missile crisis. All of South Florida was "under threat" from the deadly Russian Bear. Scared the crap out of a lot of youngsters. I doubt any of this stuff actually ever worked.
