grober Posted September 15, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 15, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica USA in New Jersey just answered my querying e-mail with counsel that I should wait until November first before sending in any existing Leica lenses for the 6-bit code upgrade. I don't know if all the autorized Leica dealers in the U. S. are clear on this yet, so I thought I'd pass this along. In any case, I think it unwise to send your Leica glass directly to New Jersey in any case. Using the authorized Leica dealer of your choice still seems the best course of action, for a number of valid reasons which don't need elaboration here.
