Guest moonwrack Posted May 9, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 9, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have an M6 Titanium which is very nice but that peculiar leather finish to the covering is irritating. Does anyone know a place in the UK where I can get it recovered in something more discrete? (And yes, I know that recovering it will not make any difference to its performance as a camera, thanks). marknorton Posted May 9, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 9, 2008 Look at the M8 forum to see threads where we've been recovering the camera using kits from CameraLeather.com Custom camera leather and leatherette. Excellent quality, wide choice and they do kits for the M6 as well. An easy and enjoyable exercise.
Guest suilvenman Posted May 9, 2008 Share #3 Posted May 9, 2008 You could also have a look at CRR Luton site which advertises a re-covering service (in vulcanite substitute) for £95. The site also refers to another DIY self adhesive covering from Fargo Enterprises for about £25. Cheers, Ken.
